A new video shows how to tie your shoelaces in just one second.

Instead of a tried-and-true method like the “bunny ears,” the new method could be easily learned by children or adults and accomplished even more quickly for those in a hurry.

The simple technique is demonstrated by an unnamed man from the city of Belgrade in Serbia.

His hands expertly twist the laces on a pair of grey Converse trainers into a near bow in the blink of an eye.

The man begins by tying the laces in a simple or “overhand” knot before wrapping each lace around his forefinger and thumb on either side, reported the Daily Mail.

The man then brings his fingers towards each other and grabs the loop of string on the opposite finger before pulling them apart into a perfect bow.

The video plays in a loop, showing the man performing the routine over and over again.
