Former “Sex And The City” star Kim Cattrall criticized co-star Sarah Jessica Parker after the death of her brother, Chris Cattrall.
“I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker,” Cattrall wrote on Instagram. “My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’”
Parker had written on Instagram, “My love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother,” according to the New York Post.
In ending her message, Cattrall left a link to a New York Post article titled, “Inside the mean-girls culture that destroyed ‘Sex and the City.’”
As The Associated Press reported, the two actresses haven’t gotten along for years.
In October 2017, Cattrall said that she has “never been friends” with any of her co-stars on the hit show, the BBC reported. The actress said of her relationship with Parker, “We’ve never been friends. We’ve been colleagues and in some ways it’s a very healthy place to be because then you have a clear line between your professional life and relationship and your personal.”
She added, “The thing that still bothers me is this feeling of being in some way made to be the baddie. I never asked for any money, I never asked for any projects, to be thought of as some kind of diva is absolutely ridiculous.”
Cattrall’s brother was found dead last week at the age of 55.
