Families love getting together over the holiday break, and it is a good opportunity for children to bond together and play. Often, busy schedules can limit the time families spend together, and for the president, spending quality time together with his wife, four of his children, and seven of his grandchildren is something he would be sure to cherish.

With his family gathered around him, Trump was in high spirits and took time out with the younger members of the family.

Donald Trump Jr. was happy to share photos of his father relaxing with his grandchildren.

One photo caption read, “A little breakfast and grandpa duty on the calendar for the weekend.”

Another photo was captioned, “Grandpa time. Chloe and Spencer hanging out with their President… grandpa @realdonaldtrump. Kicking Easter off the way it should be with friends and family. Enjoy your weekend everyone.”

The president and first lady Melania arrived at Mar-a-Lago via Air Force One on April 18 to begin their family Easter, with son Eric, 35, arriving by private jet with Donald Jr.

A fishing trip was on the top of the weekend’s agenda for the two boys, with photos to prove its success.

“Great night on the water with @erictrump and @fishruss catching and releasing quickly some amazing tarpon. The bite was on and we amazingly went 8 for 11 on the silver kings. It’s been a long time since I got home at 4:30 am so I’ll pay for it later but totally worth it. #catchandrelease#tarpon #fishing #lighttackle#outdoors,” read one post.

“Kai and grandpa @realdonaldtrump on the links for #Easter. Soon there may need to be a match for who is the best in the family👍🤣 my money starting to shift to @kaitrumpgolfer she’s getting really good and she is competitive. #golf #kidsgolf#granddaughter #weekend.”

Also cause for celebration was the recent Mueller report that concluded neither Trump nor any campaign staff had colluded with Russia.

Trump tweeted: “The end result of the greatest Witch Hunt in U.S. political history is No Collusion with Russia (and No Obstruction). Pretty Amazing!”

Jared Kushner, senior White House adviser and the president’s son-in-law, summed up the investigation in a live Time interview.

“And I think now we spent two years going through that nonsense and the one thing the Muller report was very conclusive on is there was absolutely no coordination or collusion with the Trump campaign and everything that the president has been saying, everything that I’ve been saying for two years, has now been fully authenticated.”

Trump was off to a well-earned round of golf on April 20, and returned to the White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll on April 22—where an estimated 30,000 adults and children streamed through the South Lawn to celebrate Easter festivities, including the traditional rolling of hard-boiled eggs across the lawn.
