Jill Duggar took to Facebook this week to show off her growing baby bump to fans of the family.
Jill has been posting pictures of her baby bump since soon after announcing her pregnancy. In each picture she holds a small chalkboard with how long it’s been since she got pregnant.
In the latest picture, the chalk board says: “36 weeks, 2 days.”
The child will be the first for Jill and husband Derick Dillard, who got married early last year.
Due to the increased interest in Jill due to her courtship and wedding, TLC has been following along with the pregnancy.
“They’re actually filming during our pregnancy, we’re also doing some little diary-cam, home video things, but they'll be following us throughout our pregnancy,” Jill said during an interview on Fox & Friends a while back.
Jill said that she’s unsure, though, whether the actual birth will be filmed.
Jill and Derick are expecting a baby boy, sometime this spring. In fact, there won’t be too many more pictures of pregnant Jill with a chalk board, with time passing by so fast. The due date has been pegged for March 24.
Jill told People magazine recently that she feels fabulous and that her son feels very active.
The couple has already received a number of gifts from family and friends, such as a crib, a bassinet, and a birthing tub.
Jana Duggar, Jill’s older sister, will help a team of midwives deliver the baby. Jill and Jana have helped deliver babies in the past.
