FRANKFURT—Mr. Qaiser Malik, managing director of Leica Gallery in Frankfurt, attended Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Frankfurt Jahrhunderthalle on Saturday night March 15.

Mr. Malik, who is of Pakistani origin, hosted 20 of his clients and co-workers because he wanted them to gain a more positive outlook of the Chinese people.

“I invited my clients because China is next door to Pakistan. I wanted to tell them, see these people are my next door neighbors. Look at the wonderful experience they gave us tonight.”

He said, “It was fantastic not just in my eyes, but in the eyes of all the people I brought to the show tonight.”

Shen Yun is based in upstate New York and according its website, “Shen Yun’s mini-drama pieces draw upon stories and legends that span China’s history from the Yellow Emperor and through the Tang and Song dynasties and all the way to the modern day.”

It was most interesting for Mr. Malik and his guests to see a performance that brought stories from ancient China to the stage.

He said, “I’m awed at having seen tonight a small part of China’s history. The show touched my heart, and honestly, I can’t express in words how touched I am tonight.”

“The show was far beyond my expectations. I felt as I was experiencing a living dream. Many thanks for this wonderful evening.”

Mr. Malik thought the dancers were from beyond this world..

“For me, the dancers didn’t move, they floated, and it was as if they had just arrived here from a different planet and if they weren’t subject to this earth’s gravity,” he said.

“One is suddenly transported into another world. One forgets the daily grind. And, that’s what makes the show even more precious.”

Mr. Malik found inner peace and harmony from seeing Shen Yun.

“I finally found a relief to these daily pressures. This is what is so amazing.”

He continued, “I had no idea what to expect and I have to say it again that I was more than pleasantly surprised. Just look at me, I am beaming with joy and happiness.”

“Please give my thanks to the performers. Tell them that the Shen Yun is a most unique performance.”
