Vin Diesel said he and others are preparing to meet with Universal studios about the future of the “Fast & Furious” series.
“Tomorrow we meet with the studio, regarding the future of the Fast saga… and the completion of seven,” he told his fans via Facebook on Friday.
But Vin didn’t mention whether Cody Walker would be part of the discussion.
Producers are considering using Walker as a replacement in some of the scenes that Paul Walker was slated to be in, reported the Daily Mail.
They’re still working on how to best “retire” Brian O’Conner, having decided not to kill him off.
The upcoming installment in the popular franchise is due out in April 2015.
“Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7, which will be released by Universal Pictures on April 10, 2015,” Universal Studios said in an official statement.
“James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series, and Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return as producers.”
Vin added on Facebook, accompanying an old photo of him and Walker, that “We always took pride in trying to make each one better than the last…”
