Today Daisy Schwartzberg, Martha Stewart’s makeup artist, will show us how to use only 5 products to create a fresh look for your perfect Labor Day barbeque or party.
How to create a nice, soft look with just 5 products? You'll need: illuminating foundation, bronzer, eyeshadow, mascara and a lip gloss.
I’m going to start with an illuminating foundation. This will make your skin looks really fresh! You can use a brush or fingers, it’s totally up to you. I prefer to use a brush because it will create all-over even application.
Now, I’m going to put an eye brightener. Start from the outer corner and dab in with your ring finger. This just take away any unwanted discoloration and make your eyes look fresh.
Since this is still a summery look, you want to keep it light. Use nice peachy colar color for an eyeshadows.
Next I use a shimmer bronzer. This is gonna give you that sun kiss glow that we’re looking for. Just sweep it all over your cheek, inward-out. Use the highlighter where sun naturally hits the face: above your cheekbone, around your temples and right down your nose.
For lashes, I like to use waterproof mascara in the summertime.
Finish the look with a sunkissed glow lips. I’m using nice gold shimmery lipgloss.
And there you have it. Nice summery glossy look with only five products!
