Spring is my favorite season because it’s simply the most stunning season! But I know a lot of people have pollen allergies. So today I'd like to share with you a few Asian secret remedies to fight spring pollen allergies.

  1. Honey: Honey contains small amounts of pollen grains. When you ingest it regularly, it helps you build up a resistance against pollen. You can slice a whole lemon, with the skin (because lemons have lots of vitamin C, it also helps boost your immune system), and place the lemon in honey in a dish. Refrigerate overnight. Eat 3 slices every morning and every night. Three slices should last you for about 12 hours.
  1. Red Dates: Japanese researchers found that red dates contain a large number of the anti-allergic substance—cyclic adenosine monophosphate—which can prevent allergic reactions. Slice 3 red dates in half, place them in a cup, and add boiling water. Steep for 5 minutes and drink.
  1. Carrots: Japanese researchers found that the carotene of carrots can effectively prevent pollen allergies.
  1. Yogurt: Studies have also found that yogurt can help relieve pollen allergies. People who eat lactic acid bacteria are less likely to have a runny nose and congestion during allergy season.
