Mostly our pets are well behaved, right? But every now and then, an animal’s gotta do what an animal’s gotta do. Silly to the extreme, they can get up to all kinds of shenanigans. We might not know whether to laugh or cry, but in our hearts, through it all—we still love them.
1. This is an extreme case of cat verses dog
Dolby’s wicked plan to shut the dog out after it exits via the cat flap works every time. By guarding the entrance like its life depends on it and staring back at the innocent canine, the “feline wins” … or so it thinks.
The dog’s good upbringing doesn’t allow it to hit back, which it easily could do but doesn’t. So, the docile dog just sits and waits looking like a sucker. Hilarious!
Dobby the cat waits for the dog to go out the cat flap, then sits in front of it so the dog (who is too polite to knock the cat in the face with hard plastic) can’t get back in. pic.twitter.com/8yimnwyiDU

2. This cockatoo saw its chance when it escaped from its cage
In record time, it took to dislodging every key off the keyboard, gleefully flinging them to the floor leaving a terrible mess and a keyless keyboard for its dumbstruck owners to discover.
After the tirade, this naughty cocky was promptly returned to its cage, and only after a hurried trip to the computer store was he forgiven for that spout of naughtiness.
My husband once left our cockatoo out, momentarily unattended. When he came back a few minutes later, every single key from my keyboard had been removed and flung across the room! pic.twitter.com/QdhHrYChZ2

3. This pit-greyhound mix and his new owner, Kilgour Trout, were extremely happy when they found each other
Trout and his adopted pooch were having a ball on the couch one day when the dog’s bony head, which “is as hard as a rock,” accidentally smashed into Trout’s face—breaking his nose on the spot.
But as they say, time heals all wounds and now all is forgiven and forgotten!
My Dog is a pit-greyhound mix. Thin body but his head is as hard as a rock. About a week after we adopted him, we were horsing around on the couch. The booger hit me in the face with the top if his head and broke my nose. pic.twitter.com/RyKkInmC5s

4. This three-legged cat doesn’t know her own strength
Who would’ve imagined that she split her owner’s lip open a couple of times by being overly enthusiastic while cuddling.
But all is good in the hood again—till next time!
ernestine justice shacklekitten the three-legged wondercat has split my lip on more than one occasion with her aggressive cuddling. “my cat gave me a fat lip” is the fakest sounding excuse ever but i mean, look at this thug. pic.twitter.com/UnCeztLcIb

5. This muppet got stuck between the bars while making a break for it
…and was captured on camera for all the world to see!
How embarrassing. Will this lil’ terrier ever learn?

6. Watch out for the stream if you are in the vicinity!
Just announcing who’s boss apparently…
Never mind, it comes with the territory.
Here’s one of my dogs peeing on my other dog. It wasn’t the first time either. pic.twitter.com/RM9gzLOYCV

7. Kitty has developed a thing about his water bowl
He keeps placing his furry paws inside and probably wonders why they’re wet—does he even know why he does it?
There must be a method to a cat’s madness … somewhere.

8. See! This is what happens when a dog and buffalo wings meet at the bottom of the bin
As there is no other way than going in headfirst, this adorable pooch ends up emerging with the evidence of the crime firmly fitted around its neck.
“It’s a classic case of the punishment matching the crime.”
But when all is said and done, “love is blind…”
There were bones from homemade Buffalo wings in the trash can. Sooo….this happened. pic.twitter.com/NsKt7psbmb

9. This poochy’s eyes are too big for his stomach
He just couldn’t resist the smell of spicy chicken, and when no one was around he raided the trash can. Being 2 days old, he paid dearly for his sins on the bathroom floor with a diarrheic Slough Of Despond.
But when it was all over, his owners forgave him, naturally.
This is Mr. Pugsley. One day he knocked over the trash can and ate the 2-day old remains of a smoked paprika roast chicken. We lived in terror of the cooked bones killing him until he turned the bathroom floor into a diarrheic Slough of Despond. He’s a good boy. pic.twitter.com/oLgWyTQj8O

10. This pooch has strange tastes
Seems like q-tips taste like lollipops and pennies like chocolates—whatever!
This guy poops out whole q-tips at least once a week, and once he puked up a penny right in front of me. pic.twitter.com/ncFlKzjZy9

11. Waking up groggy early in the morning and wanting to turn on the tap…
…but being faced with a fluffy basin is not all that refreshing, to say the least. However, it appears to be just what this cat considers to be great interior decoration.
almost every morning he gives me a heart attack while I’m in the bathroom because I don’t even realize he’s in the sink, but it’s his favorite place to sleep pic.twitter.com/pHxamLFlif

When you are burning the midnight oil or can’t sleep, why don’t you jot down a few antics your pets get up to—it’s sure to bring a smile to your face and help pass the time.
