Mr. Qiu praised the synchronization of performances: "The dancers’ movements were in perfect unison, and the music and the backdrops were well-matched. The backdrops were so amazing, I feel very comfortable.”
He continued saying that Mulan Joins the Battle was an act in compliance with ancient Chinese cultural values of loyalty to one's parents and to one's country.
"The dancers did a wonderful job and their overall performance left nothing to be desired. Exquisite rapport in Chinese culture was presented by the DPA show,” he said.
He added that the vignette, Welcoming Spring was very impressive. "The presentation of those flowers was very vivid and sleek, with an ambiance, making the audience feel very peaceful and serene."
